Cameron Parish Police Jury met in special session on Monday, May 23, at the Grand Lake Conference Center/satellite office located at 10098 Gulf Hwy. with all jurors present.

On the agenda was consolidation of Waterworks Dist. No. 1, Waterworks District No. 7, and Waterworks District No. 9 and granting the President authority to sign all necessary documents.

Jurors voted to move to consolidate Waterworks 1, 7 and 9 and advertise ordinance change for the consolidation of waterworks district boundaries 1, 7 and 9 and grant the President authority to sign all necessary documents for consideration.

The next agenda item was for the President to sign a letter of support for installation of the public restroom facility at the West Ferry Landing.

After much discussion, jurors moved it should be deferred to the Beach Board to consider and is pending Beach Board acceptance to maintain and consider.
The meeting was adjourned.
