Vincent Circello

Pastor Vincent Felice “Poppy” Circello, 94, died Friday, Jan. 15, 2021.

He was a native of New York and proud of his Italian heritage. He served his country in the United States Army during World War II. He recently wrote a book called, Our Story. He pastored churches in Vermont and Florida and traveled all over the world working with missions and performing God’s work. He was a member of Life Point Church of Sulphur.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth Circello; children, Diana Cua (Rick) of Franklin, Tenn., Felice Clark (Larry) of Liverpool, N.Y., Stacey Vangemery of Milton, Vt., and Gimi Circello (Temara) of Tampa, Fla.; two stepchildren, Craig Constance (Darlene) of Carlyss, and Sterling Constance (Charlene) of Hackberry; numerous grandchildren; great grandchildren; and great-great grandchildren; and a brother, Mike Circello of California.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Nicola and Angela Circello; sister, Fedora Depamphilis; and stepson, Jimmy L. Constance, Jr.

His life was celebrated Tuesday, Jan. 19, at Lifepoint Pentacostal Church of Sulphur. Pastor Marshall Baggett and Pastor Jeanne Gunter officiated. Burial followed at New Hackberry Cemetery.
