Third Thursday Luncheon held at Grand Lake

T-Boys in Grand Lake was once again the venue for Cameron Parish 3rd Thursday Luncheon attended by over 100 people.

They had an awesome group and got to visit with old and new friends and family and enjoyed great food.

Jeffra and Doug DeViney, publishers of Cameron Parish Pilot in celebration of their 66th Anniversary honored Loston McEvers who has been their columnist for Cameron Outdoors for over 40 years at Cameron Pilot as well as DeQuincy News, their sister newspaper. He was presented an ice chest with a custom decal depicting his likeness in caricature. His family was in attendance as well as many of the newspapers’ staff and other writers for the Pilot. Attendees were given free issues of The Pilot and commemorative journal books.

The next 3rd Thursday Cameron luncheon & Meet and Greet will be held Oct. 19 at T-Boys in Grand Lake at 11 a.m. Come one come all and visit.
