Thelma Mae Primeaux Guillory, 96, of Lake Charles died in her home on Thursday, January 5, 2023.

Mrs. Guillory was born and was a graduate of Creole High School before moving to Lake Charles in 1946. She volunteered her time as a candy striper at Christus St. Patrick Hospital and at St. Margaret Catholic Church doing clerical business. She was a member of St. Margaret Catholic Church and to the Ladies Altar Society and was a Catholic Daughter.

She is survived by her son, Craig Guillory (Lynn) of Creole; daughter, Theresa Kay Ray Jasper (Moroni) of Mauriceville, TX; her companion, Benny Bourg of Lake Charles; 8 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.

She was preceded by her parents, Theresa and Nasta Primeaux; husband, Albert Guillory; 2 grandchildren and 2 brothers.

A funeral was held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at St. Margaret Catholic Church. Deacon Anthony Pousson officiated. Burial followed in Consolata Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home.
