Teri LaBove

Teri Delane LaBove, 62, of Iowa passed away at 9:45 p.m. on Monday, Aug.16, 2021 in a local hospital.

Teri was born on May 27, 1959 in Creole and was raised in Cameron where she was a 1977 South Cameron High School graduate. She held many work positions throughout her life including truck driving, being a store cashier, and taking care of the elderly.

She enjoyed reading, making jewelry, and bargain shopping. Her most cherished time spent was with her grandson. Teri will be remembered for her kind, giving soul with a loving heart that was always willing to help others.

Those left to cherish her memory are her parents, JD and Patsy LaBove; daughter, Shayla Landry (Jerome); grandson and pride and joy, Aiden Landry; siblings, Jimmy LaBove (Sharon), Belinda Duhon (Kenneth), Wardella Pugh (Donald), Shannon LaBove (Brooke), and Rocky Bostick; nieces and nephews, Jamie (Andrew), Kohen, Easton, Victoria, Kevin, Tommy, Talesha (Scotty), J’Nae, Kelan, Kolby, Brandon, Cody (Heather), Jacelyn, Damon, Bailey, Brailee, Mynlee, and Jace; and numerous cousins and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 21, in the Johnson Funeral Home in Moss Bluff. The Rev. Lloyd Carroll will officiate. Cremation will follow the service. Visitation will begin on Friday in the Moss Bluff Funeral Home from 5 until 8 p.m. and will resume on Saturday from 11 a.m. until the start of the service.
