Hog Island Gully Recreation Area South is now open to the public.

Hog Island Gully Recreation Area North will remain closed to the public for repairs until approximately Jan. 1, 2025.

Refuge staff asks that visitors please be patient and obey area closures for the duration of the project period. For additional information regarding this closure, Sabine NWR, or other Southwest Louisiana NWRs, please contact us at SWLRComplex@fws.gov.

Blue Crab Recreation Area will be closed to the public for bridge guard rail repairs from Tuesday, Dec. 10, until approximately Friday, Dec. 13. The reopening date may need to be adjusted based on project logistics or any weather delays.
