Unveiling set for new historical marker for Cameron Courthouse

The historical marker program commemorates facts, persons, events and places prominently identified with the history of the nation, state or region.

Historical markers are privately sponsored and funded by sponsors. In this case, a marker for the Cameron Parish Courthouse was funded by Cameron LNG and organized by the Cameron Preservation Alliance then approved by the Louisiana Office of Tourism.

There will be an unveiling be held at 5 PM Friday, January 10, 2025 during the Louisiana Fur and Wildlife Festival on Festival Fairgrounds.
