Operating Agreement in Cameron, Louisiana
Docket No. OMR 23-04
In accordance with the laws of the State of Louisiana, and with particular reference to the provisions of Title 30 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950, a public hearing will be held at the Cameron Parish Police Jury West Annex Building, 148 Smith Circle, Cameron, Louisiana 70631 at 1:30 PM on November 29, 2023 to solicit comments on a proposed Operating Agreement between the State of Louisiana and Cajun Wind LLC. The Operating Agreement is subject to change prior to final approval by the State Mineral and Energy Board at one of its upcoming meetings.
The Operating Agreement is for the rights to develop wind energy for the production of electricity on portions of state owned offshore water bottoms in West Cameron Area, Revised, Blocks 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 34 in Cameron Parish, Louisiana. All comments on the proposed Operating Agreement will be heard. NOTE: This is a solicitation of comments regarding the proposed agreement. This is not a presentation of the proposed project.
The Operating Agreement is available to the public by clicking on the link titled “OMR’s Special Notices and Announcements” found on The Office of Mineral Resources website at http://www.dnr.louisiana.gov/index.cfm/page/168. In addition, written comments may be emailed to OMR@la.gov or mailed to Office of Mineral Resources, Post Office Box 2827, Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70821-2827 to be received on or before November 29, 2023. Please reference Docket No. OMR 23-04 in your comments. No additional public comments will be accepted after this date.
