GRAVITY DRAINAGE
DISTRICT NO 4
APRIL 20, 2020
Gravity Drainage District No. 4 held a regular meeting at the Creole Fire Station in Creole, Louisiana at 5:30 p.m., Monday, April 20, 2020.
PRESENT: Shane Broussard, Leslie Griffith, Todd Morales, Mike Semien and Dan Nunez
ABSENT: None
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Shane Broussard.
Mr. Mitch Thomas with Lonnie Harper & Associates, Mr. Aaron Pearce and Mr. Cassidy LeJeune with Ducks Unlimited and Mr. Scott Trahan, Police Juror were present for the public comment period. The group discussed the upcoming projects and timelines.
On motion of Mr. Nunez, seconded by Mr. Morales and carried, the Board voted to permit the section of the Duke Lateral that had not been cleaned in the last permit.
On motion of Mr. Semien, seconded by Mr. Nunez and carried, the minutes of the March 16, 2020 meeting were approved.
On motion of Mr. Morales, seconded by Mr. Semien and carried, the financial report was approved.
On motion of Mr. Morales, seconded by Mr. Semien and carried, the Board voted to transfer reimbursement money from Ducks Unlimited into the LAMP account when it arrives.
On motion of Mr. Griffith, seconded by Mr. Morales and carried, the following bills were approved for payment.
Jeff Davis Electric, $43.12
Seabreeze Culverts, $1,938.00
Cameron Pilot, $66.00
On motion of Mr. Griffith, seconded by Mr. Morales and carried, Permit LCUP#200402: Texas Easter Transmission, LP located East Creole, Oak Grove Highway, Section 24, T14S, R07W; Section 36, T14S, R07W (Proposed 5 geotechnical soil borings at its TransCameron and Grand Chenier Compressor Station sites to determine soil characteristics to aid in engineering design for facilities associated with the Cameron Extension Project P2011289, Cameron Parish, Louisiana.
There being no further business, on motion of Mr. Nunez, seconded by Mr. Semien and carried, the meeting was declared adjourned.
