Regular Meeting

Thursday, April 8, 2021
Board President Ernest Roberts called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. Board Members present were Ernest Roberts, Jaimie Boudreaux, Wendy Harrington, Sonny McGee & Kathleen Simon. Peter Posada and Beth Ferguson were absent. Kathleen led the pledge of allegiance and Jaimie led the prayer. No public comment.
On the motion by Jaimie and seconded by Wendy, and carried, the Library Board voted to accept the minutes of the last meeting.
On the motion by Jaimie and seconded by Wendy, and carried, the Library Board voted to accept the financial report. Wendy gave an insurance report.
On the motion by Kathleen and seconded by Wendy, and carried, the Library Board voted to give full time employees a 13% cost of living raise.
On the motion by Jaimie and seconded by Kathleen, and carried, the Library Board voted to get new signs for all libraries.
On the motion by Kathleen and seconded by Jaimie, and carried, the Library Board voted to rent the Traverse the Police Jury has.
On a motion by Jaimie and seconded by Wendy, the board voted to table the VOIP purchase
On the motion by Jaimie and seconded by Kathleen, and carried, the Library Board voted to accept the lowest bids for library generators for Cameron and Grand Lake Libraries.
There being no further business and upon the motion of Jaimie seconded by Wendy, and carried, the board voted unanimously to adjourn at 6:43 p.m.
