Cameron Parish Library has placed five Little Free Libraries around the parish.

You can find the libraries at Bayou Convenience Store in Johnson Bayou, Brown’s Food Center in Hackberry, Canik’s in Creole, Cameron Main Library, and at Myers Landing in Lowry.

The libraries are to supplement the community’s needs in between the repairs of branch libraries and the bookmobile routes that go into the communities twice a month.

Little Free Libraries have donated items that you can borrow or keep. You may also donate items to the little free libraries if you wish (small children’s books are needed).

While Cameron Parish Library is in the hurricane repair phase, we want to remind patrons that we are here to assist them in the best way possible. We offer Faxes on the go, Copies, WiFi Hotspots, Material check outs from bookmobile and Grand Lake Library, Lit Loot Box program, and the upcoming Summer Reading Program.
