Kevin Charles Faulk, 57, of Grand Lake passed away at 3:22 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 19, 2024 at his residence. He was born in Lake Charles.

He grew up playing sports, continuing into high school where he was on the Grand Lake basketball team and track team where he threw the shotput and discuss. He previously worked for Fire Safety, Braun Welding supply and as a security guard. For the last 25 years he was employed with the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development as a supervisor. He was a former member of the Grand Lake/Sweetlake volunteer fire department and Cameron Parish Civil Defense.

He is survived by his siblings, Janice Landry, Mondell Garcia, Ricky Faulk, Jared Faulk, Richard Faulk, and Terry Faulk.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Morgan “Black” and Melba Faulk; his paternal grandparents, Nelson and Lona Theriot Faulk; and maternal grandparents, Nolton and Gladys Vige Richard and one sister.

Funeral service was held Wednesday, Jan. 24, in the Johnson Funeral Home chapel. Monsignor James Gaddy officiated Cremation followed.
