Notice is hereby given that Venture Global CP2 LNG, LLC and Venture Global CP Express, LLC have applied for a 401 Water Quality Certification to clear, grade, excavate, and place fill to construct a liquefied natural gas terminal on the eastern bank of the Calcasieu Ship Channel and associated marine facilities on Monkey Island in Cameron, Cameron Parish. The project also includes a pipeline system that will connect the terminal to the existing U.S. natural gas transmission grid. In Louisiana, the pipeline system will be in Calcasieu and Cameron Parishes. Venture Global CP2 LNG, LLC and Venture Global CP Express, LLC are applying to the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality, Office of the Environmental Services for a Water Quality Certification in accordance with statutory authority contained in the LAC 33:IX.1507.A-E and provisions of Section 401 of the Clean Water Act
