The Cameron Registrar of Voters Office provided this Mar. 20, Election information:

The deadline to register to vote in person or by mail is Feb. 17.

The deadline to register to vote through the GeauxVote Online Registration System is Feb. 27.

Early voting is set for Mar. 6-13 (excluding Sunday, Mar. 7) from 8:30 a.m.-6 p.m.

The deadline to request an absentee by mail ballot is Mar. 16 by 4:30 p.m.

You can request an absentee by mail ballot online through www.geauxvote.com or in writing through the Registrar of Voters Office (other than military and overseas voters).

The deadline for a registrar of voters to receive a voted mail ballot is Mar. 19, by 4:30 p.m. (other than military and overseas voters).

The Cameron Parish Registrar of Voters office is located at 148 Smith Circle in Cameron. They also have a temporary location at Grand Lake Library, 10200 Gulf Hwy. in Grand Lake.
