Gavin Ray Scott, 14, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2020. Gavin was born Dec. 16, 2005 in Lake Charles to Charles Keith Scott and Tasha Roberson Scott.

Gavin attended school at Sam Houston High School. He enjoyed riding and working on four wheelers. He also enjoyed fishing, the outdoors, music and spending time with his friends.

Those left to cherish his memory are is his parents, Charles and Tasha Scott of Lake Charles; his brother, Gunar Scott of Lake Charles; his grandparents, Beverly and David Oquain, Jomae Badon (Dudley), Terry Roberson and Charles Scott (Dale).

Visitation was held at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles on Sunday, Nov. 1, starting at 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. with a Rosary at 2 p.m. Funeral Services followed at 3 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Hazlehurst, Miss. at a later date.
