Doris Faye Duhon, 77, of Lake Charles passed away on Monday, Oct. 26, 2020. Doris was born on Jan. 3, 1943 in Many to Roy B. Turpin and Ruby Salter Turpin.

Doris was a Graduate of McNeese State University where she received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She worked at the Cameron Hospital and the Cameron Health Unit. She was on the TV show Romper Room where she was starred as Mrs. Doris.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Paul Duhon of Lake Charles; one son, Brett W. Johnson of Lancaster, Calif.; one daughter, Renee C. MacDougall of Pittsburg, Pa.; one stepson, Raymond Duhon (Donna) of Lake Charles; two stepdaughters, Delia Sanders (Fred) of Cameron and Maria Duhon of Creole; one brother, Ross Turpin (Valerie) of Carlyss; one sister, Jan Jamison (Brad) of San Antonio, Texas; five grandchildren, Britanni Johnson, Duncan MacDougall, Keegan MacDougall, Stirling MacDougall and Ryder MacDougall.

Visitation was held at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles on Friday, Oct. 30, starting at 10 a.m. until the time of service. A Celebration of Life followed at the funeral home starting at 11 a.m.

Cremation was entrusted to Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles.
