PROCEEDINGS
December 1, 2021
There was a regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners of Water District No. 2 at 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at the Hackberry Community Center.
PRESENT: Mr. Michael Fewell, Mr. Mark Trahan, Mr. Donald Buford, Mr. Brad Hinton
ABSENT: Mr. Mike Welch
Employees present: Mr. Glenn Welch, Mr. Michael Morales, and Mrs. Shaun Kyle
The meeting was called to order by Board President Michael Fewell who also led the pledge and prayer.
Public Comment period was given on all agenda items. No comments were made.
On motion of Brad Hinton, seconded by Donald Buford and carried unanimously, the minutes from the November 10, 2021 meeting were approved.
After reviewing the 2 quotes submitted by the painting companies to paint the piping at both well sites, the Board decided to accept TNT’s quote with the understanding the project is to be completed before next hurricane season in March of 2022.
Monthly Operator updates were presented by Glenn Welch and Michael Morales. C & L will be inspecting the filters at each well site to check for anthracite loss.
On motion of Donald Buford, seconded by Brad Hinton and carried unanimously, all bills were approved for payment.
Our next meeting will be Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at 7:00 p.m.
There being no further business, on motion of Brad Hinton, seconded by Donald Buford, and carried unanimously, the meeting was declared adjourned.
