Donald Froemming, Jr., 69, of Big Lake died Friday, July 1, 2022 at Lake Charles Memorial.

He was born in Wichita, Kan. He served as a Mechanic in the Army during the Vietnam area. After leaving the service, he was a diesel mechanic for Rocky Mountain International.

He is survived by his wife, Marian Wannage Froemming; children, Brad Brown (Lesa) of Sand Dusky, Ohio, Christopher Froemming (Tatevik) of Godmanchester, UK, Sarah Froemming of White Bear, Minn., Donald T. Froemming (Helen) of Bowie, Texas, and Darold Froemming (Melissa) of Monticello, Fla.; siblings, Valerie, Joseph “Joe”, Gerald “Jerry”, Cindy, and James “Jim;” 14 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald Carl Froemming and Leila Ann Zwieg; and brother.

Cremation was entrusted to Hixson Funeral Home in Lake Charles.
