Donald “Bubbie” Broussard, 84, of Carlyss died Saturday, Mar. 20, 2021 at his residence.

He was born in Hackberry.

He is survived by his wife, Twiley Broussard; three children, Amy Bufford and husband Bobby, Melanie Fuselier and husband Denny, and Randy Broussard and wife Sabrina; two stepchildren, Sheri East and Terrie Frey; eight grandchildren; four step grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; seven step great-grandchildren; two siblings, Faye Vincent and Lennie Broussard.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar “Teca” and Amy Courmier Broussard.

A Mass of Christian burial was held Tuesday, Mar. 23, at St. Peter Catholic Church. Burial was at Hackberry Community Cemetery under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. Rev. Arvind Minz, H.G.N. officiated.
