William Robert “Bobby” Reeves Sr., 65, of Moss Bluff, died Saturday, Mar. 13, 2021 in Ferris, Texas.

He was born in Lake Charles, lived a few years in Texas and has lived in Moss Bluff since 1996. He was a graduate of Boswell High School in Oklahoma. He worked as a truck driver for all of his career, spending many of those years at TransWood and at Averitt for the past five years.

He is survived by his children, Misty Newsome of Idabel, Okla., Bobby “Little Bob” Reeves Jr. and wife Heather of Grand Lake, and Brian Reeves of Lake Charles; sister, Patsy Adair of Lake Charles; numerous grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Maloria Busby Reeves; one sister; and one brother.

A gathering of family and friends was held at Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff on Friday, Mar. 19.
