Board Member Cecil Clark passed away May 20, 2022.
The Minutes from the May meeting were approved. A motion was made by Shirley Gray seconded by Ronald Nunez all were in favor.
The financial report was approved. A motion was made by Ronald Nunez seconded by Shirley Gray, all were in favor.
The bills were approved. A motion was made by Ronald Nunez, seconded by Ryan Mallory all were in favor.
Shirley Gray discussed with the board putting a fence back up at the W1 West structure. Rusty Welch will see if the Police Jury can cover the cost for this. Before hurricane Laura there was a fence. The board agreed to put up no trespassing signs for now until Rusty reports back to the board.
Rusty Welch reported to the board the staph gauges are working really well. He will try to have a graph for the next meeting to let the board know which culverts are leaking and need maintenance.
Rusty Welch let the board know while we are having dry weather conditions he will start working on spraying.
Rusty Welch gave the board pictures and documentation of the North Protection Levee. He will also take this information to the Police Jury and talk to them. The NPL is heavily damaged and needs repairs as soon as possible.
A motion was made by Ronald Nunez to adjourn the meeting. The motion was seconded by Shirley Gray, all were in favor.
