Cameron Parish Recreation District 5 held its regularly scheduled meeting on October 20, 2022 at 6:00 p.m.
Board President Tremayne Picou called the meeting to order and on roll call the following members were present: Jacob Babcock and Kayla Conner
Absent: Brett Bellard and Thomas Cox
Employees in attendance were Lisa Ledano.
Guests present: Tom Barrett and Carl Conner
Minutes of the previous meeting, September 15, 2022, were distributed to all board members via electronic mail prior to the meeting. Kayla Conner made a motion to accept the minutes as presented. Jacob Babcock seconded the motion. The motion carried unanimously. Public comment: none.

•Public Comment – time was allowed for public comment prior to voting on all agenda items.
•Tom Barrett reviewed the vendor contract for a temporary facility and provided the board with information regarding issues and concerns that he has discovered. He will email Tremayne Picou on 10/21/22 with the list of specific items to be forwarded to the vendor of the facility.
The board members present reviewed the invoices for the month of September 2022. Jacob Babcock made a motion to approve the bills. Kayla Conner seconded the motion. The motion carried unanimously. Public comment: none.
The treasurer’s report for the month of September 2022 was distributed to all board members via electronic mail prior to the meeting. Kayla Conner made a motion to accept the treasurer’s reports as presented. Jacob Babcock seconded the motion. The motion carried unanimously. Public comment: none.
With no further business to discuss, Kayla Conner made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Jacob Babcock seconded the motion. The motion carried unanimously. Public comment: none.
