DISTRICT NO 4
September 21, 2022
Gravity Drainage District No. 4 held a regular meeting at Grand Lake Water Works District #11 Office, 111 Dennis Lane, Bell City, Louisiana 70630, at 5:30 p.m., on Wednesday, September 21, 2022.
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Shane Broussard.
Board members present for the meeting were: Leslie Griffith, Dan Nunez and Shane Broussard.
Board member(s) absent was Mike Semien and Todd Morales.
On motion of Mr. Griffith, seconded by Mr. Nunez and carried, the minutes of the Wednesday, August 17, 2022 meeting were approved.
Rusty Welch was present at the Public Comment Period. He discussed North Cameron Protection Levee.
On motion of Mr. Griffith, seconded by Mr. Nunez and carried, the financial report was approved.
On motion of Mr. Nunez, seconded by Mr. Griffith and carried, the following bills were approved for payment.
1. Karl Styron – $11,730.00
On motion of Mr. Griffith, seconded by Mr. Nunez and carried, the Board added Mr. Coy Vincent to the agenda.
On motion of Mr. Griffith, seconded by Mr. Nunez and carried, the Board accepted the 2021 Annual Financial Statement presented by Mr. Coy Vincent of Gragson, Casiday and Guillory, L.L.P. Certified Public Accountants.
On motion of Mr. Nunez, seconded by Mr. Griffith and carried, the Board added to the agenda a Permit for Cameron Parish Police Jury.
On motion of Mr. Nunez, seconded by Mr. Griffith and carried, the Board accepted the LCUP#220802 for Cameron Parish Police Jury: Location of Permit: Pumpkin Ridge Road, Grand Chenier, Section 5, T15S, R06W (proposed installation of a pump station and associated discharge piping adjacent to the existing gravity drainage outfall at Kings Bayou Structure.
There being no further business, on motion of Mr. Nunez, seconded by Mr. Griffith and carried, the meeting was declared adjourned.
