Cameron Parish Beautification begins June 10

Attention Cameron Parish residents! Friday, June 10, with the help of Bob’s Tree Preservation and Lion’s Club Co-Chairs, Tax Assessor Scott Lavergne, Assistant District Attorney Chelsea Carroll Champagne, the Lion’s Club is sponsoring a Cameron Parish Beautification project which includes the planting of live oaks and new flowerbeds in the courthouse square. Six to eight feet live oak trees will be available for purchase at a discounted price of $125 to those interested.

This price only includes the live oak tree with instructions on watering and replanting and must be picked up between the hours of 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. from the courthouse square. Those interested must call ahead of time to purchase at 337-232-8733.
