Brenda Sue Venable, 71, of Hackberry died on Friday, Nov 11, 2022 at her residence. She was born in Lake Charles.

She is survived by her daughter, Jenny Logan of Hackberry; three grandchildren; three great grandchildren; three brothers; and two sisters.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Anica Toups; her second husband, John Venable; parents, Anderson and Evelyn Welch: one brother; and one sister.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. Peter’s Catholic Church Hall on Tuesday, Nov. 15, with Father Arvind Minz, H.G.N. officiating. Burial followed at Hackberry Community Cemetery.
