NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given pursuant to Article 7, Sec.tion 23(c) of the Louisiana constitution and R.S.47:1705(b) that a Public Hearing of CameronParish School Board will be held at its regularmeeting place at the Cameron Parish School BoardOffice, located at 510 Marshall Street, Cameron, Louisiana, on Monday June 12, 2023 at 5:00 pm toconsider levying additional or increased millagerates without further voter approval or adopting theadjusted millage rates after reassessment androlling forward to rates not to exceed the prioryear’s maximum. The estimated amount of tax revenues to be collected in the next year from theincreased millage is $15,717,004.25 and theamount of increase in taxes attributal to the millageincrease is $105,390.53
