PROCEEDINGS
March 8, 2023
There was a regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners of Water District No. 2 at 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at the Hackberry Waterworks office.
PRESENT: Mr. Michael Fewell, Mr. Mark Trahan, Mr. Donald Buford, Mr. Brad Hinton, Mr. Mike Welch
Employees present: Mr. Mr. Dalton Nunez, and Mrs. Shaun Kyle
The meeting was called to order by Board President Michael Fewell who also led the pledge and prayer.
Public Comment period was given on all agenda items. No comments were made.
On motion of Brad Hinton, seconded by Mark Trahan and carried unanimously, the minutes from the February 8, 2023 meeting were approved.
New SOPs were reviewed and revisions will be made for further review at the next meeting.
Monthly Operator updates were presented by Dalton Nunez. LMI pumps were rebuilt, Maguire Iron will inspect the ground storage tank at Wellsite #2, and the parish crew helped repair a leak on Colligan Ln.
The monthly updates and Financial Reports including the Actual vs Budget Report for the month ending February 28, 2023 were presented by Shaun Kyle.
On motion of Donald Buford, seconded by Mike Welch and carried unanimously, the financial reports were accepted and all bills were approved for payment.
Our next meeting will be Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at 6:00 p.m.
There being no further business, on motion of Brad Hinton, seconded by Donald Buford, and carried unanimously, the meeting was declared adjourned.
