Notice is hereby given pursuant to Article 7, Section 23(C) of the Louisiana Constitution and
R.S. 47:1705(B) that a public hearing of Camer.on Parish Ambulance District 2 in Cameron Parish will be held at its regular meeting place atthe Cameron Parish Ambulance District 2, locat.ed at 979 Main Street, Hackberry, LA on Tues.day, May 16, 2023 at 5:45 p.m. to consider levy.ing additional or increased millage rates withoutfurther voter approval or adopting the adjustedmillage rates after reassessment and rollingforward to rates not to exceed the prior year’smaximum. The estimated amount of tax reve.nues to be collected in the next year from theincreased millage is $5,497,763.78, and theamount of increase in taxes attributable to the millage increase is $1,767,132.68.
