Cameron Parish Waterworks District #7 met in regular session on Monday, January 23, 2023, at 4:30 p.m. at South Cameron High School.
Members present, Michelle Trahan, Kimily Bourriaque, Vickie Kiffe.
Members absent, Gabe LaLande.
Michelle Trahan called the meeting to order.
Vickie Kiffe led the pledge of allegiance.
Vickie Kiffe made a motion to approve the minutes, it was seconded by Kimily Bourriaque.
Vickie Kiffe made a motion to approve the following changes to our water rates, it was seconded by Kimily Bourraique. The following changes are as stated.
A $5.00 increase to all base rates, effective March 1st, 2023, and in November 2023 revisit a possible 2nd rate increase, which we would adopt in December and put into effect January 2024. Everyone with 3 or more connections to a meter must follow Louisiana Dept of Health guidelines and install a back-flow preventer and provide yearly inspection certificate.
Kimily Bourriaque made a motion to approve the cost to replace all sample sites, it was seconded by Vickie Kiffe.
Vickie Kiffe made a motion to approve the 2023 budget, it was seconded by Kimily Bourriaque.
Vickie Kiffe made a motion to approve the financial statement, it was seconded by Kimily Bourriaque.
Vickie Kiffe made a motion to pay bills, it was seconded by Kimily Bourriaque.
Kimily Bourriaque made a motion to adjourn, it was seconded by Vickie Kiffe.
