NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given pursuant to Article 7, Section 23(C) of the Louisiana Constitution and
R.S. 47:1705(B) that a public hearing of SpecialAssessment District in Cameron Parish will be held at its regular meeting place in Suite A of the Cameron Parish Police Jury East Annex, located at 110 Smith Circle, Cameron, LA on Tuesday, May 23rd, 2023 @ 10 a.m. to consider levyingadditional or increased millage rates withoutfurther voter approval or adopting the adjustedmillage rates after reassessment and rollingforward to rates not to exceed the prior year’smaximum. The estimated amount of tax revenues to be collected in the next year from the increasedmillage is $1,305,931.84, and the amount ofincrease in taxes attributable to the millageincrease is $160,360.01.
