Wanda Lee LeBlanc, 63, of Creole died on Sunday, Nov. 7, 2021.

She was born in Beaufort, N.C. She was a member of Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Cameron where she was a Eucharistic Minister. She was also a Catholic daughter and made her Cursillo.

She worked for many years for Cameron Parish as a Director of the Cameron Recreation Center.

She is survived by her husband, Carlton LeBlanc; daughters, Elwanda Shilow of Houston, Texas, Sha’Da LeBlanc of Lake Charles; three granddaughters; brother, Walter Murrell of Lake Charles; sisters, Emma Davis, Agnes Morris and Doris Johnson of Have Lock, N. C.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Earnest Wallace and Gertrude Murrell Wallace; and a host of brothers and sisters.

A memorial was held Saturday, Nov. 20, at Hixson Funeral Home in Lake Charles led by Celebrant Jody Barrilleaux.
