Vivian “Tibby” Miller, 93, died Friday, Oct. 8, 2021 in a local hospital.

She was born in Creole. She graduated from Morse High School and started her working career as a nurse in Sulphur.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edras and Olita Stutes Thibodeaux; husband, Lester Joseph Miller; and three brothers.

She is survived by her sons, Glenn Miller (Lorena) and Keith Miller (Carolyn); her daughter, Janet Jones (Danny); her sisters, Bessie Guillory and Effie Velez; 11 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service was held Wednesday, Oct. 13, at University Baptist Church in Lake Charles. Burial followed in Prien Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home.
