Lynda Sue Williamson, 67, died on Thursday, Oct. 7, 2021.

She was born in Shreveport. She was a Special Education Teacher in Cameron Parish for 25 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, J.L. and Rubye Marie Childress Smith; husband, William Williamson and one brother.

She is survived by her husband, Mitchel Wilson; sons, Casey Williamson (Tricia) and Rory Williamson; step-daughter, Michelle Walker (Mac); and five bonus grandchildren.

Her funeral service was held Monday, Oct. 11, in the Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff Chapel. Rev. Oliver McGuire and Rev. Michael Rodrigue officiated. Burial followed in Mitchell Cemetery in Anacoco under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home.
