Venture Global LNG has announced the launch of its Apprenticeship Program at the Calcasieu Pass Facility in Cameron.

Venture Global is enthusiastic about reciprocating the support it has received from the local Cameron and Calcasieu Parish communities during its inception and growth over the years.

The 12-month Apprenticeship Program is tailored to assist technical school graduates specializing in maintenance and process operations and offers full benefits to all eligible participants. The program begins with two months of classroom instruction led by the Venture Global Training Department. The remaining 10 months allows each apprentice to join their respective team for field training under the supervision of a mentor. During field training, program participants are assessed for potential full-time employment.

Following participation in the program for a minimum of six months, those enrolled become eligible to apply for available positions upon receiving a favorable recommendation from departmental leadership.

The Apprenticeship Program is a part of Venture Global’s commitment to restore Cameron and Calcasieu Parish. It is the company’s hope that by promoting sustainable community development and fostering growth by providing career opportunities, Southwest Louisiana’s own will return home and reunite with family.
