The Louisiana State Police recently promoted Brad Saltzman as Commander of Troop D which encompasses Allen, Beauregard, Calcasieu, Cameron and Jeff Davis Parishes. Saltzman has over 20 years of experience in law enforcement.

He began his law enforcement career with the Cameron Parish Sheriff’s Office in 1994, and later joined the Louisiana State Police in 2001.

Saltzman is a graduate of South Cameron High School and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from McNeese State University.
