NOTICE Of PUBLIC HEARING
CAMERON PARISH POLICE JURY SURGE PROTECTION PROJECT
A public hearing for the project will be held on Thursday, October 1, 2020 at 11:30 a.m. at the Cameron Parish Police Jury West Annex Building located at 148 Smith Circle, Cameron, LA 70631. The purpose of the hearing is to inform the public about the project and encourage the public to attend and ask questions to the project team. The project area is located at the southwestern edge of Lake Misere at the point where it meets the GIWW. C.H. Fenstermaker & Associates, LLC is the consultant for the project that will evaluate known flooding sources to assist with the development of providing an Engineer Study and Report needed for the proposed Surge Protection Project funded through the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP).
