The 3rd Thursday Meet and Greet Luncheon was held Thursday, Feb. 20, at T-Boy’s Cajun Grill in Grand Lake. Not even the cold temperatures interfered with an attendance of over 50 persons.
Many of the attending guests were in their Mardi Gras costumes and donned their beads and masks for the festival season which is now in full swing.

Larry and Mary Vincent brought a fig king cake to share along with the family recipe.
Fig King Cake:
2 cups sugar
3 cups flour
1 1/2 cups cooking oil
3 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
2 tsp soda
1 pint jar figs
You may add coconut and pecans
The next event will be held at T-Boys on Thursday, Mar. 20, at 11 a.m.
