Cameron Police Jury held their regularly scheduled meeting on Wednesday, Apr. 12.

During the voting session of the meeting, some of the following actions were taken:

Permits were approved for Garrett Dugas Properties, LLC; Select Oilfield Services LLC; TC-Energy-ANR Pipeline Company; Donald H. Sobba; Texas Eastern Transmission LP; Adam and Marlie Martin; and Port Arthur Pipeline, LLC.

The following appointments were approved:

Matt Hudson was appointed to Fire Protection Dist. No. 15 and Chad Cooper was appointed to Open Seat, Beachfront Development Dist. No. 1.

Cameron Council on Aging was approved an appropriation of $12,000 for Meal Program.

A resolution was adopted to abandon Parish Road 233, Twin Oaks Road, Grand Chenier.

The jury granted approval to lease the Cameron Parish Health Unit Building to Lower Cameron Hospital Board during construction of the new South Cameron Memorial Hospital and also granted the president authority to execute CEA.
