Phillip Anthony Lowery, 65, died Monday Feb. 28, 2022, at a local care facility.

He is survived by his mother, Velma C. Lowery of Hackberry; sisters, Cynthia Carpenter of Hackberry, Catherine Munson of New Roads, and Joan Hauser of Austin, Texas; brothers, Stephen Lowery of Moss Bluff, Patrick Lowery, John Anthony Lowery, Jr. of St. Francisville.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Anthony Lowery, Sr.; and one brother.

A memorial service was held Saturday, Mar. 5, at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Hackberry. The Rev.Arvind Minz, H.G.N. officiated. Inurnment was at St. Peter Cemetery in Hackberry under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home.
