Patsy Ruth Johnson, 74, of Lake Charles died Thursday, Mar. 30, 2023 at her daughter’s residence.

She was born in Lake Charles before moving to Grand Lake where she was a graduate of Grand Lake High School. In the early 1980s, she moved back to Lake Charles and was a member of Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. She worked as a secretary for Joe Champeaux Architect for many years.

She is survived by her daughter, Melissa Crador of Lake Charles; son, Mark Crador of Sulphur; brothers, Gerald Richard of Lake Charles and Eldred Richard of Iowa; two grandchildren; and one great grandson.

She was preceded in death by an infant son, Russell Crador; parents, Della and Gilferd Richard; and a brother.

A funeral service was held on Monday, Apr. 3, in the Johnson Funeral Home chapel. Father Wayne LeBleu officiated. Burial followed in Grand Lake Community Cemetery.
