Patricia Welch Kelly, 84, of Lutz, Fla., passed from this world Jan. 5, 2021. Born in Lake Charles and growing up in Cameron held her heart as home.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Maj. Donald E. Kelly; and her daughter, Kathryn Kelly.

She leaves behind her son, Christopher Kelly of Odessa, Fla.; and daughter, Marget Kelly of Lutz, Fla.; along with cousins, nieces, nephews and a long list of lifelong friends.

A private memorial will be held at her request in Lake Charles.

In lieu of flowers, her family requests donations as follows: Outside the State of Louisiana, kindly send donations to the United Way of Southwest Louisiana @ www.unitedwayswla.org. Type her name under company entry. Inside the State of Louisiana, please donate in her memory to your local hospice. Her final wishes requested no tears, only fond memories of great times spent together.
