Kim Repp

Kim Daphne Roberts Repp, 60, entered eternal rest on Thursday, Mar. 11, 2021 in Eugene, Oregon. She was a native of Cameron and a graduate of South Cameron High School in 1978.

Her parents, O’Neil and Elsie Kelley Roberts; her sister, Kerry Lin Roberts; her husband, Bruce Repp; and her life partner, Ted Roy; preceded her in death.

Kim, also known to many as Kimmy, was an everlasting cheerleader. She cheered for the Tarpons, the Tigers, the Saints, and most of all she cheered for her children and grandchildren. The only thing bigger than her heart was her smile, and she was loving and supportive of everyone who entered her circle. She was playful and fun, always reminding us to take ourselves a little less seriously.

Kim’s cooking could rival that of Paul Prudhomme’s. She brought her Cajun flavor to Oregon, and her chicken and andouille gumbo was so delicious, the recipe was featured in the local paper. Her table was always filled with love, laughter, and savory dishes that did not last long. She was at her very best when hosting a party.

She will be greatly missed by her children, Christopher Savoie (Heather), Summer Repp Naranjo (Salvador), Kristen Repp House (Bryan), Brittany Roy (Mark), and Shelby Roy. She was very proud to be the grandmother to Brycen, Anna Kate, and Harrison Savoie, Brynlee Boudreaux, Maverick and Andee Naranjo, Devon Heflin, Lillian House, and Brooklyn Taylor Pullin. She is also survived by her brother, Robin Roberts (Anne); and her sister, Kelley Roberts Christie; and their children and grandchildren.

Kim’s children will welcome friends at Lake City Baptist Church in Lake Charles on Friday, Mar. 19. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. until time of service. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. and will be led by Kris Howerton.

Services have been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home of Lake Charles.
