Outgoing Police Jurors receive plaques for service

Seven outgoing members of the Cameron Parish Police Jury were recognized and given plaques of appreciation at the December meeting for their years of service to Cameron Parish.

Mary Carroll, Parish Secretary, read the following, “Thank you to all of our outgoing police jurors for your hard work and dedication to Cameron Parish. Each of you has helped move the parish in a positive direction and helped navigate two major hurricanes, a national pandemic, and much more.”

Each juror was recognized for their number of years of service and their respective positions they held during their tenure. Combined years for these leaders adds up to 68 years of experience and service to Cameron Parish.

Scott Trahan has served on the Cameron Police Jury for 12 years. During his term, Trahan served as Vice President for one year and President for one year.

Thomas McDaniel has served on the Cameron Police Jury for eight years. During his term, McDaniel served as Vice-President one year.

Curtis Fountain has served on the Cameron Police Jury for 12 years. During his term, Fountain served as Vice President for two years and President for three years.

Joe Dupont has served on the Cameron Police Jury for 12 years. During his term, Dupont served as Vice-President for three years and President for three years.

Lawrence “Lee” Faulk has served on the Cameron Police Jury for eight years in District 8.

McKinley “Butch” Guidry has served on the Cameron Police Jury for four years in District 7.

Kirk Quinn has served on the Cameron Police Jury for 12 years. During his term, Quinn served as Vice-President for two years and President for two years.
