A Regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the Hackberry Recreation District was held at the Hackberry Recreation Center in Hackberry, Cameron Parish, Louisiana, Monday, September 21,2026 at 4:15 pm.
Members Present: Travis Welch, Terry J. Murphy & Bethany Moore.
Members Absent: Travis LaBove & Desiree Boykin.
Guests: None.
The meeting was called to order by the Chairman; Bethany Moore and the following business was discussed.
Motion was made by Terry J. Murphy, second by Travis Welch, and carried to accept the regular meeting minutes as read.
Motion was made by Travis Welch, second by Terry J. Murphy, and carried to accept the financial statements.
Motion was made by Terry J. Murphy, second by Travis Welch, and carried to rescind millage rates that were adopted on April 20, 2026, for the Hackberry Recreation District and the HRD Multi-Purpose Facility.
Motion was made by Travis Welch, second by Terry J. Murphy, and carried to adopt resolution of 9.870 mills for the Hackberry Recreation District for 2026.
Motion was made by Terry J. Murphy, second by Travis Welch, and carried to adopt resolution of 1.980 mills for the HRD Multi-Purpose Facility for 2026.
Motion by Terry J. Murphy, second by Travis Welch and carried to adjourn the meeting.
