Regular Business Meeting
Monday, June 22, 2020
The Johnson Bayou Recreation District of Cameron Parish met Monday, June 22, 2020 at 6:00p.m. The meeting was held at the Johnson Bayou Recreation Center located at 135 Berwick Rd. Johnson Bayou, LA 70631.
Members present: Mr. Heath Jinks, Ms. Tammy Erbelding and Mrs. Pamela Romero
Members absent: Mr. Jonathan Trahan and Mrs. Adrienne Jinks
Guests: Mrs. Heather Trahan and Mrs. Linda Gandy
Mr. Heath Jinks called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.
The pledge and prayer were led by Mr. Heath Jinks
Public Comment period was given on all agenda items. No comments were made.
A motion was made by Ms. Tammy Erbelding, seconded by Mrs. Pamela Romero and carried to adopt the millage rate for the 2020 tax year.
A motion was made by Mrs. Pamela Romeo, seconded by Ms. Tammy Erbelding to hire Mr. Ed Frank to upgrade the cement walkways leading to the pool and to add new sidewalks leading to the splash pad.
A motion was made by Mrs. Pamela Romero, seconded by Ms. Tammy Erbelding and carried to accept the minutes from the May 26, 2020 meeting.
It was moved by Ms. Tammy Erbelding, seconded by Mrs. Pamela Romero and carried to approve the bills as paid.
A motion was made by Mrs. Pamela Romero, seconded by Ms. Tammy Erbelding and carried to accept review of the financial statements.
With no further business to discuss, it was moved by Ms. Tammy Erbelding, seconded by Mrs. Pamela Romero and carried to adjourn the meeting at 6:21 pm. The next regular meeting will be held in August.
