Minutes of Meeting – September 12, 2023, 6:00 p.m.

Members Present: Wesley Hardin, Will Aucoin, Bobby Stansel, Gordon Gremillion
Members Absent: Jared Desormeaux
Employees Present: Brad Hinton and Shaun Kyle
Special Guest: Coy Vincent – Gragson, Casiday, & Guillory, LLP
The meeting was called to order by president Wesley Hardin and the following business was discussed.
Public Comment: None
On motion of Bobby Stansel, seconded by Gordon Gremillion and carried unanimously the Board approved the previous meeting minutes.
Coy Vincent presented the 2022 Financial Review to the Board Members.
On motion of Gordon Gremillion, seconded by Will Aucoin and carried unanimously the Board accepted the 2022 Financial Review from the auditor.
Lateral maintenance and upcoming projects were discussed and operator updates were given by Brad Hinton. Arial lateral spraying will take place Sept. 19-21. The Board offered to have the parish road crew help with some of the maintenance items and Brad said he would be able to complete all items the Board had listed for completion.
On motion of Will Aucoin, seconded by Bobby Stansel and carried unanimously the Board approved to use Brimstone to mulch the four ditches listed for mulching.
On motion of Gordon Gremillion, seconded by Bobby Stansel and carried unanimously the Board elected to award both employees a 3% cost of living pay increase to be effective immediately.
On motion of Bobby Stansel, seconded by Gordon Gremillion and carried unanimously the Board accepted the August 2023 Financial Report and Actual vs Budget Report.
On motion of Gordon Gremillion, seconded by Will Aucoin and carried unanimously the Board approved the invoices for payment.
On motion of Bobby Stansel, seconded by Will Aucoin and carried unanimously the meeting was adjourned.
