Notice of value increase letters have been mailed out. This year is a state mandated reassessment year. Any property owner that had an increase in value should be receiving a Notice of Value letter which will show last year’s assessed values versus this year’s values after the 2024 reassessment.

Cameron Parish Assessor’s Office asks property owners to look over the new values. If you have any questions, now is the time to ask and for us to make changes, not when you receive your tax notice.

They ask that you please be patient with their staff as over 5,000 letters were sent out and they expect phone lines to be busy. They will answer any questions or concerns you may have and thank you for your patience and understanding.

The office is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.; closed from 12 to 1 p.m. for lunch.
