Nick Baccigalopi

Nick Alan Baccigalopi died on Wednesday, Mar. 23, 2022. He was born in Creole. He was one of six children born to Joseph S. and Lorraine T. Baccigalopi.

He attended South Cameron High School where he played the trombone in band, during the Tarpon’s football season and graduated class of 1978.

Upon graduation he worked alongside his father learning carpentry, then went on to earn a living as a heavy equipment operator in oil field construction for over thirty years.

He is survived by his wife, Renee Baccigalopi; children, Erica (Jerad) Bradley, Theresa (TJ) Menard, Tony (Laken) Baccigalopi, Stacie (Kenneth) Elliott, Whitany (Bill) Acheson, Cody Parsley, and Colton Parsley; 13 grandchildren; parents, Joseph S. and Lorraine T. Baccigalopi; siblings, Joel Baccigalopi, Susan Hebert, Doyle Baccigalopi, and Esther Baccigalopi.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jim and Edna Baccigalopi.

Funeral services were held at Johnson Funeral Home in Moss Bluff on Sunday, Mar. 17 at 2 p.m. Cremation was entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.
