The Cameron Parish Water and Wastewater District No. 1 Board met in regular session on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at 4:00 p.m. in the water district office located at 126 Ann Street in the town of Cameron, Louisiana.

President Chris Mooney called the meeting to order.
The Pledge was led by Chris Mooney and the voluntary Prayer was led by Chris Mooney
Roll Call: Present: Chris Mooney, Tammy Peshoff, Kathy Guthrie and Tammy Vincent
Absent: Fred Sanders
On a motion by Tammy Peshoff, seconded by Kathy Guthrie and carried, to approve and dispense from reading the regular session August 2022 minutes.
On a motion by Kathy Guthrie, seconded by Tammy Vincent and carried, to approve the financial statement for the month of August 2022.
On a motion by Tammy Peshoff, seconded by Kathy Guthrie and carried, that the bills for the month of August 2022 be paid.
On a motion by Tammy Peshoff, seconded by Kathy Guthrie and carried, to not renew the contract with JA Davis for the back 2 cells of the sewer pond.
On a motion by Tammy Peshoff, seconded by Kathy Guthrie and carried, to sign the contract with K & M Project Services, LLC on a as needed basis and for sewer pond revision of the first pond that is a one cell into a 3-cell pond.
On a motion by Tammy Peshoff, seconded by Tammy Vincent and carried, to work up a project cost and to get bids sent out for sheet pylons installed.
On a motion by Tammy Peshoff, seconded by Tammy Vincent and carried, to modify the dumping policy for all indirect dumping to have all future dumping to be set up with a filtering system to remove all trash, therefore, being reduced to only liquid before going into the sewer system.
On a motion by Tammy Peshoff, seconded by Tammy Vincent and carried, to move October 25, 2022 board meeting to October 27, 2022 at 4:00 p.m.
On a motion by Tammy Peshoff, seconded by Kathy Guthrie and carried, to table Ziptility until the October 27, 2022 board meeting.
On a motion by Kathy Guthrie, seconded by Tammy Vincent and carried, to advertise for bids on chlorine and phosphates in the Cameron Pilot.
On a motion by Tammy Peshoff, seconded by Kathy Guthrie and carried, there being no further business, the meeting stands adjourned.
