MINUTES OF MEETING
September 29th 2021
A meeting was held by the Board of Directors of the Cameron Parish Beachfront Development Dist. No. 2 at 5:30 P.M. on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at 126 Ann Street Cameron, Louisiana.
Board members present were: Kim Murphy, Peggy Griffith and Vickie Kiffe
Absent: Tina Payne
Guest: None
The meeting was called to order by Vickie Kiffe as well as roll call and leading the Pledge. The voluntary Prayer was led by Kim Murphy.
Public Comments: There were no Public Comments
On a motion by Kim Murphy, seconded by Peggy Griffith and carried, that the minutes for the August 11, 2021 regular session meeting were approved.
On a motion by Kim Murphy, seconded by Peggy Griffith and carried, that all August bills be paid.
The rock laying project began around the first of July 2020 and is now complete.
The Board decided to start re-building (2) two showers, one on each end of the area where the pavilion was located and to contact the Cameron Parish Police Jury to get Purchase Orders, along with advisement and assistance of this project going forward.
Also discussed, was to order limestone to resurface the previous parking lot (or re-doing whole area – Vickie is checking into this)
On a motion by Peggy Griffith, seconded by Kim Murphy and carried, that there being no further business, the meeting stands adjourned.
Notes: The Cameron Parish Beach Board Dist. #2, at the August 11th 2021 meeting, adopted the meeting time and dates as follows:
For the rest of 2021: 5:30 P.M. on the 3rd Tuesday of the following months:
August 11th ~ September 29th ~ October 19th ~ November 16th ~ December NONE
NO MEETINGS JANUARY. – JULY 2021, DUE TO HURRICANE LAURA ON AUGUST 2020
